Isonet® T by Biogard is a pheromone-based mating disruption system specifically designed to combat Tuta absoluta in tomato cultivation. Each dispenser emits a synthetic female moth scent, disrupting mating by making males unable to locate females. This innovative solution ensures a clean start for crops, as it works preventively to suppress pest infestations.

To maximize effectiveness, dispensers should be applied early in the crop cycle, ideally with no pre-existing pest pressure. The system requires 800–1,000 strips per hectare, hung at strategic points below 1.5 meters for optimal results. Each dispenser remains effective for approximately three months, ensuring continuous protection across multiple crop cycles. Isonet® T provides an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative to chemical pesticides, supporting growers in achieving healthier crops and minimizing environmental impact
